First Lego League- Lego Robotics
Since 2010 Chrisney Elementary has participated in the First Lego League- Lego Robotics. Groups of 5-7 students build and program a Lego Mindstorm EV3 robot to compete missions on a robot field that is designed according to the challenge each year. Teams must also research a real-world engineering challenge, develop a solution and present it to a panel of judges as part of the competition. Competition is held at Owensboro Community and Technical College in the Fall.
